Abstract

This research is motivated by the influence of changes lead to structural transformation implies a shift in values, attitudes, ways of life, human behavior, systems, and others where it has an impact on life as expressed Hussein and Hady (2012) All human resource potential influence the efforts of the organization in achieving its objectives so that between the organization and the individuals in it is a talent that can not be separated. This study uses independent variables, locus of control (X1), individual characteristics (X2), job characteristics (X3), goal orientation (X4) and performance as the dependent variable (Y). Collecting data in research using questionnaires distributed to 60 employees Ahmad Yani International Airport in Semarang by using purposive sampling. While the analysis is done by processing the data using SPSS version 16.0 for windows. The results of the regression analysis and t-test can be seen that the locus of control variables, individual characteristics, job characteristics and goal orientation has positive influence on the performance variables. The coefficient of determination (Adjusted R² = 0.512) mean of 51.2%, the coefficient of the variable locus of control, individual characteristics, job characteristics and goal orientation influence on employee performance. Value of 51.2% while the rest (100% - 51.2% = 48.8%) affected other variables outside research or outside the regression model.
