Abstract
The main point in the writing of this paper is ECDIS in an effort to save souls at sea by KN. SADEWA 231 and the Semarang search and rescue office. The background of the problem in this paper is the working system of ECDIS navigation aids, operating factors, uses and benefits of these tools. The purpose of writing a paper is to find out the procedures for using, benefits, and barriers to ECDIS in KN. Sadewa SAR in accordance with applicable procedures. In the process of collecting data to support the contents of this paper, the author uses several methods. Judging from the source, the author uses primary and secondary data. While the data collection method the author uses interviews (Interview), literature study (Library Research), and observations (Observation). The result of the discussion of this paper is to know about the operation of ECDIS as a navigation aid in KN. SADEWA, the benefits of ECDIS on KN. SADEWA, and what obstacles will happen to ECDIS in KN.SADEWA. There's no doubt about KN. SADEWA is a ship that has the most complete navigation tools in its class.
