Abstract
In the modern era like today, the transportation sector plays an important role in people's welfare so that it supports growth in various fields. Advances in science and technology support the rapid development of means of transportation, thus causing the rate of vehicle growth to increase. However, this is also accompanied by the emergence of several unwanted negative impacts, such as congestion and an increase in the number of traffic accidents. The technique used is a non-probability sampling technique using incidental sampling of 100 samples. Questionnaire data processing is assisted by statistical software SPSS version 16. The analytical method used is multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the results of statistical testing using multiple linear regression, the following regression model was obtained Y= 4.294 + 0.375 X1 + 0.148 X2 + 0.204 X3 + From the results of the analysis using thestatistical application, it was SPSS V.16 found that the independent variable that had a positive and significant influence on accidents that occurred on the Margoyoso Road (Purworejo-Magelang) was the driver factor (X1) with a regression coefficient value of 0.375 and the road condition variable (X3) with a regression coefficient of 0.204. From the results of the t test, it can also be seen that the most influential factor on accidents that occurred on Jalan Margoyoso (Purworejo-Magelang) is the driver factor with a test value of 4,100 with a significance level of < 0.001. And the value of coefficient of determination (R2)of 0.975 logistic regression so that it can be said that the contribution of independent variables to affect the dependent variable was 97.5% and 2.5% are influenced by variables outside the research.
