Abstract

Effectiveness of a Port influenced by several factors including the view of Security, Accessibility, and facilities of the port. Of the three, has an important role in improving the service that is reliable and professional. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is influence of Scurity, Accessibility, and Facilities of the Effectiveness of Jepara Crossing port both partially and simultaneously. In this study, the study population was a passenger that operate in Jepara Crossing Port by taking a sample system with 100 respondents (sample). Variables in the study consisted of: Security independent variables (X.1), Accessibility (X.2), and Facilities (X.3) and bound variables, namely Effectiveness (Y.1). Data collection method used is by way of a questionnaire method. The results of the analysis with the SPSS statistical tools ver.23 multiple linear regression equation Y = 2,898 + 0.271 X.1 + 0.290 X.2 +0,268 X.3 + . Results of linear equations of multiple shows that the influence of positive and significant correlation between Security to the port effectiveness (t = 3,368> table = 1.98498), the Accessibility of the port effectiveness (t = 4,758> table = 1.98498), Facilities of the port effectiveness (t = 3,607> ttabel = 1.98498), individually and simultaneously factor of security, accessibility, and facilities together - both have the effect of 40.249> Ftable 2.70. The third influence is very strong research variables with coefficient of determination (R2) obtained for 54.3% of the port effectiveness and 45.7% are influenced by variables that were not detected in this study. Keywords : Safety, Accessibility, facilities, and effectiveness
