Abstract

In connection with the rejuvenation of the Railroad track in the city of Semarang, Central Java, then in this case PT. Sinar Trans Global as a loading and unloading company was appointed to handle goods belonging to PT.KeretaApi (PERSERO). The loading and unloading company has the duty and responsibility to provide loading and unloading services from the start of the ship until the ship has finished unloading. This study uses the method of observation, interviews, and documentation. The observation method used by the author is to observe directly the Ocean Pier Terminal 2, Tanjung Emas Port, Semarang. The conclusion of this study shows that a series of procedures for handling Railroad Logistics dismantling is a purely mechanical activity, namely lift on / lift off and stevedoring, so that it becomes the main time for handling goods safety of Railroad Logistics Logistics.
