Abstract
The Role of Cirebon Class II Port Authority and Authority on Shipping and Cargo Safety in TB. BOMAS LESTARI This paper examines the role of Citerbon Class II Harbor and Port Authority in the safety of shipping and cargo. The purpose of this paper is to gather information about the role of the Martyrdom on the safety of shipping and cargo. The data collection process is used by interviewing the martyrdom and port authority and following its activities in the field to see what is done from the martyrdom and port authority. There are 4 themes that will be discussed here: the efforts made by the shahbandar to realize the safety and security of the ship's cargo before sailing, the role of the shahbandar in providing seaworthy, things that support the seaworthiness of the ship and the safety of sailing by the shahbandar, and the loss what syahbandar does if a ship that is not fit for sailing continues to sail, a study of the four themes discussed here is very useful to be known by the shipping world and especially ships that will dock at the main port of Cirebon Keywords: Role, Syahbandar, Safety, Cargo, Port.
