Abstract
Capstan engine is a machine that really needs to be used in the process of leaning ships when at the port, so that when the ship is leaning the ship does not move in other words remain in position / moved. This machine is very necessary so that during the loading and unloading process it this paper is to know the process af sretching and repairing the rolling machine on the ship, maintenance and repair of the rolling machine must be done in the right way so that the machine can operat properly as needed. Disturbance to the engine capstan on the ship can be prevented by maintaining the engine capstan regularly and in accordance with the provisions that apply to each engine.
