Abstract

Increasing the number of motor vehicle transportation has an impact on increasing the number of accident risk. The causes of motorcycle traffic accidents are caused by factors of riders, vehicles and the environment. This study aims to analyze the behavior of riders (x1), road conditions (x2) and traffic order (x3) have a positive and significant impact on motorcycle transport safety (Y). This research uses quantitative data (Likert scale) and multiple linear regression analysis (Y = 4,482 + 0,205X1 + 0,361X2 + 0,390X3 + u) with spss count tool 22 version. Research subject (n = 100) motorcyclist in road wolter monginsidi semarang. File collection techniques used observation method, literature study, interview method, questionnaire method and documentary. The result of statistic research with multiple linear regression equation obtained that the behavior of rider (x1) regression coefficient value equal to 0,205 means positive and hypothesis accepted tcount 2,055 ˃ ttable equal to 1,98498, road condition (x3) regression coefficient value equal to 0,361 with positive sign and hypothesis Is accepted where tcount 3,815 ˃ ttable is 1,98498, and orderly of traffic (x3) regression coefficient value equal to 0,390 with positive sign and hypothesis accepted value tcount 3,937 ˃ ttable equal to 1,98498 whole (x1, x2, x3) Positive and significant influence on motorcycle transport safety (y). From the Fcount of 11.057 ˃ Ftable of 2.70 indicates positive and significant influence between the rider's behavioral variable (x1), the condition of the road (x2) and the traffic order (x3) simultaneously to the safety of motorcycle transportation (y). The result of determination coefficient test (Adjust R Square) is 0,634 (0,634 x 100% = 63,4%) variable of motorist behavior, road condition and traffic order has contribution role equal to 63,4% which mean residual from 100% - 63,4% % = 36.6% is the influence of other variables outside this study.
