Abstract

As an archipelagic country, sea transportation is very much needed to support the lifeblood of the economy. To facilitate economic activities that use sea transportation, facilities and infrastructure are needed to facilitate it. The port as one of the important facilities that play a role in facilitating sea transportation, which leads to an increase in the rate of economic growth in several provinces in Indonesia. The presence of the RORO Ferry is very helpful for people who want to travel outside the region. In this study the authors examine the quality of service, security, facilities, and timeliness in using the Ferry RORO. This study aims to determine the effect of service quality, safety, punctuality and partial passenger satisfaction on the satisfaction of the RORO Ferry passengers to Buton. The population in this study were 73 respondents. The sampling technique used is non-propability sampling with the type of sampling, namely incidental sampling. The analytical method used was descriptive analysis and quantitative analysis, the data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with the help of (Software) Statistical Package for Social Science (SSPS). The regression formulation in this study is as follows: Y = 2.073 + 0.136 X1 + 0.178 X2 + 0.225 X3 + 0.234 X4 + The results of multiple regression research indicate that there is a partially positive effect on service quality on passenger satisfaction (tcount 2,984>ttable 1,99394), security on passenger satisfaction (tcount 2,552>ttable 1,99394), facilities on passenger satisfaction (tcount 2.278>ttable 1.99394), and timeliness of passenger satisfaction (tcount 2.609>ttable 1.99394) The influence of the three research variables is very strong with the correlation value Adjusted R2 = 0.495. While other factors that influence customer satisfaction are (100% - 49.5%) = 50.5%. Keywords: Service Quality, Security, Facilities, and Timeliness.
