Abstract

The success of an agency in achieving its objectives depends on the performance factor of its employees, because the employee's performance is a key factor for to mobilize the existing resources within the agency. There are many factors that affect employee performance such as task variation, knowledge of job description and human resource skill. In this study will analyze the three variables above, with employee performance as the dependent variable. The purpose of this study is to analyze whether the positive effects both individually and simultaneously between the variables of independent task variation, knowledge of job description and skills to the dependent variable of employee performance. In this research object taken is employees of Department of Transportation of Central Java Province. Data sources include primary data and secondary data. The sample in this research is 100 respondents. Technical analysis of data is doubled linear regression technique. Based on the results of research and multiple analysis generated equation: Y = 1,868 + 0,271 X1 + 0,252 X2 + 0,375 X3 + μ The result of multiple regression research shows that there is a positive influence partially task variation on employee performance (thitung 3.101> ttable 1,984), knowledge of job description on employee performance (tct 3.173> ttabel 1,984) and human resource skill to employee performance (titung 4,334> ttable 1.984). As for feasibility test model (Fhitung 34,593> Ftabel 2.70). The influence of the three research variables is very strong with the correlation value of Adjusted R2 = 0,504. Simultaneously variable of task variation, knowledge of job description and skill of HR influence 50,4% to employee performance and 49,6% influenced by undetectable research variable in this research.
