Abstract

Are visiting. Activities take care of all the needs of the ship starting from the beginning of the ship's arrival, when it is at the port until the time of its departure. The purpose of observations made by the author is to determine the Supervision of the Loading Indonesia is a country known as a maritime country where most of its territory is water and consists of islands. Therefore, sea transportation is very important to connect the islands that are scattered throughout Indonesia. The ships are from one port to another, so the shipping company has to take care of the ships that are being operated at the port they and Unloading Process by the Port Authority and Port Authority of Class IV Selatpanjang. This research is to determine how the supervision of loading and unloading at the port of Selatpanjang. This research uses descriptive research type, with a survey method. This type of data is obtained through direct field observation, writing and research results regarding the loading and unloading process, with quantitative analysis. The results of this study indicate that generally loading and unloading at the port of Selatpanjang is seen from the loading and unloading process, namely discipline, safety, confidence, and responsiveness for the smooth loading and unloading process.
