Abstract
Transportation is important for national development to ease the flow of people, goods and information as supporting the achievement of the allocation of economic resources optimally. The transportation sector is a sector that very important to be able to support all human activities. Economic activities, education, defense, and security will also be run properly if it is supported by good transport system of a country, but if the transport system is not running properly, it can cause congestion or traffic accidents, so as to inhibit the transport activity. The research itself aims to determine the extent of the effect of Driver Behavior (X1), Road conditions (X2), Vehicle condition(X3), against traffic accidents (Y) Ahmad Yani Surabaya. The formulation of the problem , research objectives and hypothesis in this study is to analyze the positive and significant effect on an individual basis between the independent variables, Driver Behavior , Road conditions, Vehicle condition, the dependent variables of traffic accidents. In this study the object taken is motorcycle users who cross Ahmad Yani Surabaya. Sources of data include primary and secondary data. Samples in this study were 100 respondents who use motorbikes are across at Ahmad Yani Surabaya using the sampling insidental. Data analysis technique is the technique of linear regression. Based on the results of research and analysis produced multiple equation : Y = 1,944 + 0,326X1 + 0,315X2 + 0,194X3 + µ The results of multiple linear regression equation indicates that there is a positive and significant effect partially between of Driver Behavior ( t = 3,801 > t table = 1.985), Road conditions ( t = 3,450 > t table = 1,985), Vehicle condition against traffic accidents (t = 2,023 > t table = 1.985) . The influence of the variables with a correlation value R = 0,497. Keywords : Driver Behavior, Road conditions, Vehicle condition
