Abstract

Indonesia is an archipelagic country, so the function of sea transportation is very important in development. Tanjung Balai Karimun Port is the gateway to the regional economy in the Riau Archipelago which is a meeting place for inter and intermodal transportation, especially those concerning the flow of activities in and out of cargo ships, passengers. The port of Tajung Balai Karimun is one of the entrances to the islands in Karimun Regency. Not only to provide environmental facilities for residents who want to travel from one place to another or distribute basic necessities, but also serves as a binding rope that unites the entire archipelago from various aspects. This study aims to determine the effect of passenger satisfaction on the MV. Batam jet 6. The population in this study were MV passengers. Batam jet 6 and the sample of this study were 100 respondents. The sampling technique used is non-propability sampling with the type of sampling, namely incidental sampling. The analytical method used was descriptive analysis and quantitative analysis, the data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with the help of (Software) Statistical Package for Social Science (SSPS). The regression formulation in this study is as follows: Y = 3.070+0.265X1+0.224X2-0.116X3 µ The results of multiple regression research indicate that there is a partial positive effect on service quality on passenger satisfaction (tcount 5,880>ttable 1,98447), ticket prices on passenger satisfaction (tcount 3,398>ttable 1,98447) and facilities on passenger satisfaction (tcount 2,140>ttable 1,98447). The influence of the three research variables is very strong with a correlation value of Adjusted R2 = 0.516. While other factors that affect passenger satisfaction are (100% - 51.6%) = 48.4%. explained by variables outside this study/undetected variables.
