Abstract

The prevalence of offshore oil drilling for parties, construction of supply and anchor handling vessels, or what we often call AHTS (Anchor Handling Tug and Supply) Vessel which in fact is the most vital means of sea transportation in offshore oil drilling locations. The purpose of writing this scientific paper is titled Optimization of Optimization and Treatment of Towing Winch On The Ship AHTS Logindo Overcomer. The purpose of writing is to find out how the principle of Towing Winchworks, To find out how to care for towing winch, to find what are the classifications of a towing winch. Towing Winch is a simple mechanical device that pulls, removing voltage on a rope or wire. the writing methods used by the author are observation methods, interview methods, documentation methods, and literature studies. Based on observations on the optimization of the operation and maintenance of Towing Winch in AHTS Logindo Overcomer among others as follows, the first discussion is to find out the working principles of Towing Winch onboard AHTS Logindo Overcomer. The second discussion is to find out how to treat Towing Winch properly. The third discussion is to find out the classification of Towing Winch engines on Supply ships. The working principle of Towing Winch is a shippable tool that serves to pull heavy loads operated by system control.
