Abstract
The labor factor plays an important role and determines the success or failure of a job, especially loading and unloading. Work safety problems for loading and unloading workers are still not paid attention to, there are still many loading and unloading jobs that ignore work safety factors such as lack of attention to worker health, poor job training and not using personal protective equipment. The purpose of this research is to analyze the effect of the independent variable on the dependent variable. With a population of 250 field employees, PT. Bahtera Adhiguna Cilacap and taken a sample of 72 respondents. With non-probability sampling and purposive sampling technique, data collection using questionnaires, data analysis technique used is multiple regression analysis technique including validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test, and hypothesis testing. Based on this analysis, the following regression equation was obtained: Y = 0.477 +0.341+ 0.364 + 0.233 + . The results showed that hypothesis testing using the t test showed that the three independent variables, namely health (X1), job training (X2), the use of personal protective equipment (X3) which were studied proved to have a positive and significant effect on the dependent variable, namely work safety, on the coefficient test. determination (R Square) Adjust R square value of 0.617 means that 61.7% of the variation in the dependent variable of work safety can be explained by the independent variables of health, job training, and the use of personal protective equipment. While the remaining 38.3% is explained by other reasons outside the variables studied. Keywords: work safety, health, job training, use of personal protective equipment
