Abstract

In the world of shipping, which has its own characteristics and advantages, it is necessary to develop it by taking into account its capital-intensive nature, so as to be able to improve wider services, both domestically and abroad. It is hoped that under any conditions the ship can still operate. For this reason, it is necessary to measure the level of shipping safety related to scouting, sailing approval letters, ksop supervision. This study aims to determine the effect of Guidance, Sailing Approval Letter and KSOP Supervision on Shipping Safety. This study also aims to analyze the factors that have the most dominant influence on Shipping Safety. This research was conducted using a questionnaire method to 100 ship respondents. The analysis technique in this study uses multiple linear regression analysis. The regression formulation in this study is as follows: Y = 6,308 - 0,179 X1 + 0,386 X2 + 0,311 X3 + μ The results of multiple regression research indicate that there is a partially positive influence on Guidance on Shipping Safety (tcount 2.157>ttable 1.98447), Sailing Approval Letter on Shipping Safety (tcount 5.527>ttable 1.98447) and KSOP Supervision on Shipping Safety (tcount 4.104>ttable 1.98447) . The influence of the three research variables is very strong with a correlation value of Adjusted R2 = 0.446. Keywords: Guidance, Sailing Approval Letter, KSOP Supervision and Shipping Safety
