Abstract
In this study, four research variables were analyzed, Road Condition, Driver Behavior and Vehicle Condition as the independent variables that affect the dependent variable, namely Traffic Accidents. Problem formulation, research objectives and hypotheses in this study were to analyze the positive and significant effects individually between the independent variables namely Road Conditions, Driver Behavior and Vehicle Conditions on the dependent variable, namely Traffic Accidents. In this study the object taken was the User of Jalan Kaligawe Semarang. Data sources include primary and secondary data. The sample in this study were 100 respondents who were users of Jalan Kaligawe Semarang. The data analysis technique is multiple linear regression techniques and with SPSS 22.0 statistical tools, based on the results of research and data analysis resulting in the regression equation: Y = 1,868+ 0.233 X1 + 0.264 X2 + + 0.296 X3 + µ The results of multiple linear regression equations show that there is a positive and significant effect partially between the Road Condition to Traffic Accidents (t count = 3.101> t table = 1.9853), Driver's Behavior of Traffic Accidents (t count = 3.173> t table = 1.9853) and Vehicle Conditions for Traffic Accidents (t count = 4.334> t table = 1.9853) while determination coefficient gets R square value of 0.504 so 50.4% Traffic Accidents are explained by these 3 variables, while the remaining 49 , 6% is the influence of other variables not included in this study. Based on the analysis carried out, it was concluded that the condition of the vehicle is in the first rank of the three variables that affect the Traffic Accident variable in Kaligawe Semarang, then the difference in frequency using the Kaligawe Seamarang road is caused by differences in sex, age, recent education.
