Abstract
In connection with the increasing number of incoming goods flows in the port areas of each State of Indonesia, automatically there will be more ships operating in the ports of the State of Indonesia. This has a negative side for shipping companies because not all shipping companies have branch companies in their respective ports in Indonesia. Due to limited human resources, loading and unloading time, relevant agencies and document processing of ships arriving and departing at the ports of each country of Indonesia. Shipping company agents have the duty and responsibility to provide services to the needs of the ships they are agents of, therefore the shipping company agents must establish good relations with the relevant agencies, in order to facilitate the implementation of their duties and responsibilities. In its daily activities, PT. Tirta Permai Bahari Batam Branch must improve services properly so that service users are satisfied and do not switch to other companies and expand marketing development to increase their business network.
