Abstract

Safety driving is one of the issues that always get serious attention in every country. Road traffic safety performance in Indonesia from ADB-ASEAN surveys in Andrew Ruspanah 2014, is ranked 9th out of 10 countries. This shows that the handling of safety problems due to road traffic accidents in Indonesia has not been done. Where the largest number of vehicles involved in a traffic accident is a motorcycle. The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of independent variables of driving knowledge, driving behavior, and driving skills to the dependent variable that is driving safety behavior. In this study the object taken is all users in Jalan Diponegoro Semarang. The sample in this research is 100 respondents with the technique used is non-probability sampling technique that is by using incidental sampling, which is a sampling technique based on chance or anyone who by chance meet with researcher can be used as sample. The research model is multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the result of multiple linear research and analysis Y = 1,944+0,327X1+0,340X2+0,188X3+µ The result of multiple linear regression equation shows that there is a partial positive effect between driving knowledge on driving safety behavior (thitung 3,801> ttabel 1,984), driving behavior toward driving safety behavior (thitung 3,450> ttabel 1,984), and driving skill driving safety behavior (thitung 2.023> ttabel 1.984). The influence of the three variables of this study was obtained by Adjusted correlation R2 = 0.497. Simultaneously variable of driving knowledge, driving attitude, and driving skill influence 49,7% to driving safety behavior and 50,3% influenced by undetectable research variable in this research. Keywords: behavior safety driving , knowledge driving , attitude driving , skill driving
