Abstract
ABSTRACT The limited facilities and infrastructures as well as the natural geographical conditions that do not support the ports will reduce the port performance so that the services provided are not maximal. Conditions like this will cause problems of increasing waiting time in the port, especially during busy times. The purpose of this study to determine the effect of pilotage, speed discharge / loading, and document management. The number of samples of this study used the method of saturated sampling technique because all members of the population used to be samples used for a relatively small population or less than 30 people or want to make generalizations with a very small error. Multiple Linear Regression Analysis Technique to test hypothesis used F test at 5% real level. F calculated > F table (68,257> 3.35), then the independent variables affect simultaneously or together to the dependent variable. At the sig 0,000 level in SPSS Ver 23.0 results, it can be explained that the significance <0.05 in terms of selecting the three variables is correct. Coefficient of determination gets an adjusted value of R² of 0.874. Thus 87.4% of waiting time is explained by 3 (three) variables, while the remaining 12.6% is the influence of other variables not included in this study.
