Abstract
Crossing Transportation is transportation that functions as a bridge that connects the road network and/or rail network separated by waters to transport passengers and vehicles and their cargo. East Nusa Tenggara Province is an archipelagic province so that the existence of crossing transportation is very strategic in terms of accessibility to remote areas/areas in East Nusa Tenggara. This study aims to determine the effect of Crew Resources, Ship Safety Equipment, and Weather on the Safety of Crossing Transportation at PT. ASDP Indonesia Ferry Kupang Branch. The population in this study is the crew of the ship owned by PT. ASDP Indonesia Ferry Kupang Branch and the samples used in this study were 80 respondents. The sampling technique used is non-probability sampling with saturated sampling type, then the data is analyzed using multiple linear regression with the help of the Statistical Package For Social Science (SPSS) software. The regression formulation in this study is as follows: Y = 1,685 + 0,271X1 + 0,213X2 + 0,360X3 + µ From the equation, it is known that the most dominant variable affecting the Safety of Crossing Transportation is the Weather variable with a regression coefficient of 0,360. The R2 (R Square) test obtained results of 0,472 or 47,2%, which means that the Safety of Crossing Transportation is influenced by the variables of Crew Resources, Ship Safety Equipment, and Weather which is 47,2% and other factors that affect the Safety of Transportation Crossing at PT. ASDP Indonesia Ferry Kupang Branch is 52,8%. Keywords : Crew Resources, Ship Safety Equipment, Weather, and Crossing Transportation Safety
