Abstract
Effort to inscreasing ship’s crew of knowledge and skill to take an action on emergency situation on board Mv. Padian 2 so important. Because of that ship must exercise a drill such as schedule, if something wrong happen, we always ready to take an action.Emergency on board can arise from many factor, for example weather, human error, situation of narrow channel,etc. That happen unpredictable and will make a troble on ship sailing. Emergency situation can caused by collision at sea,grounding,fire on board,mob,pollution at sea. So every shipmust be know, about what must we prepare to emergency situationon board. Not only to complete the rules, but for aplication and optimalization,another that must know in detail by ship’s crew so hot happen wrong aplication on work. The purpose of this study is to know how we can understand when the emergency situation is happen and know what we have to do as the procedure. The data collecting methods were field research,interview and library research. The result of this study is all crews not understand and don’t know the procedure about the emergency situation, and the implementation were not as the procedure.
