Abstract
Traffic accidents are one of the problems that almost occur all over the world, this requires serious handling considering the losses caused, if the problem of road accidents is not handled properly, it is feared that there will be an increase in traffic accidents from year to year. This study aims to analyze the factors that influence traffic accidents on motorcycle users on the Brigadier General Sudiarto Semarang road. The population in this study were users or motorcycle drivers who crossed the Brigjen Sudiarto Semarang road and a sample of 100 respondents was taken, with the same sampling technique. used is non-probability sampling with type incidental sampling. The analytical method used is descriptive analysis and quantitative analysis. Data analysis using multiple linear regression analysis by means of SPSS 20, based on research results generated data following regression equation: Y = 0733 +0.333X1 + 0.385X2+0.203X3 + μ multiple linear regression equation results indicate that there is influence which is positive and partially significant between Driver Behavior towards traffic accidents (t count = 3.702 < t table = 1.98447), Vehicle Condition to traffic accidents (t count = 3.584 < t table = 1.98447), and Road Conditions to Traffic Accidents (t count = 2.268 < t table = 1.98447), while the coefficient of determination gets an R square value of 0.561, thus 56.1% of traffic accidents are explained by these 3 variables, while the remaining 43.9% is the influence of other variables not included in this research.
