Abstract
Traffic accidents are events that cannot be predicted or predicted when and where they occur, accidents usually occur due to driver behavior, road conditions, violation of traffic rules and many more. With the awareness of road users to drive properly according to traffic regulations and supported by adequate and quality infrastructure, it can minimize the occurrence of accidents. The purpose of this research is to know and analyze the factors that influence the occurrence of accidents on the Pecangaan-Damaran Jepara road, with a sample of 100 respondents in this study. The sampling technique used is non-probability sampling type. incidental sampling. The analytical method used is multiple linear regression analysis with the help of the SPSS Version 25 program. The regression formulation in this study is as follows: Y = 0,227 + 0,184X1 + 0,200X2 + 0,564X3 + µ The results of the multiple linear research show that there is a partially positive effect of driver behavior on traffic accidents t count (2.096) > t table (1.98472), road conditions to traffic accidents (2.345) > t table (1.98472), violation of traffic rules to traffic accidents (5.439) > t table (1.98472). The influence of the three research variables is very strong with the correlation coefficient of determination (Adjusted R Square = 0.608) which means that 60.8% of the variable coefficient of driver behavior, road conditions, traffic rules violations affect traffic accidents, while the remaining 39.2% influenced by variables outside this study.
