Abstract

The main discussion in writing this paper is about the handling of import documents at PT. Dinamika Expressindo Semarang. Import is one form of international trade that has an important role for a country in Indonesia itself, import has the meaning as a means to bring goods from abroad into the country to be sold to consumers who buy these goods. PT. Dinamika Expressindo Semarang is one of the companies engaged in Export Import services, logistics services. Served in PT. Dinamika Expressindo Semarang such as Freight Forwarding, as well as transportation services by sea, land, and air. The purpose of writing this paper is to find out how to process import documents, documents and what parties are involved in importing. Based on what was done during land practice, the authors used several data collection methods, namely, surveys, observations, and interviews as well as the sources and types of data. The result of the discussion of this paper is the processing of garment import documents for PT. Sk Glove Indonesia made by PPJK PT. Dinamika Expressindo Semarang will run smoothly without any obstacles if each party (exporter-importer) can fulfill the agreed procedure requirements. The conclusion of this paper is the delay in submitting documents by PPJK upon arrival of the transportation means, the difference in the value of PIB and COO documents due to PIB input errors, lack of operational staff at the company, cost constraints used for import processing.
