Abstract
Port revenue is any activity which results in an inflow or creates an increase in assets by a business sector, especially ports. Revenue can be defined generally as the result of a company. Therefore, Nilam Terminal. Pelindo III Company (Persero) Tanjung Perak Surabaya is committed to continuously improving service and productivity of container loading and unloading performance. However, performance productivity does not always match what is obtained every year. Therefore it is necessary to measure the level of port revenues related to the increase in container production volume, the effectiveness of loading and unloading performance and port technology. This research was conducted with the aim to determine the effect of increasing container production volume, the effectiveness of loading and unloading performance and port technology partially and simultaneously on the port revenue case study at Nilam Terminal PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia III (Persero) Tanjung Perak Surabaya. This study also aims to analyze the factors that have the most dominant influence on the Port revenue of Nilam Terminal. This research was conducted using a questionnaire method to employees and field workers of Nilam Terminal as many as 60 respondents. The analysis technique in this study uses multiple linear regression analysis. The regression formulation in this study is as follows: Y = -0.097 + 0.427 X1 + 0.258 X2 + 0.301 X3 + µ The results of multiple regression research show that there is a partially positive effect of increasing container production volume on port revenue (tcount 3.029> ttable 2.00172), the effectiveness of loading and unloading performance on port revenue (tcount 2.116> ttable 2.00172) and port technology on port revenue ( tcount 3,108> ttable 2,00172). From the regression equation, it can be seen that the most dominant variable influencing port revenue is the variable increasing the volume of container production with a regression coefficient of 0.427 and the value of the coefficient of determination (Adjusted R Square = 0.565) means 56.5% while the rest (100% -56, 5% = 43.5%) influenced by other variables outside the research or outside the regression equation model.
