Abstract
Productivity of loading and unloading is the quotient between the number of workers and performance. Loading and unloading means the transfer of cargo from and onto the ship to be stockpiled into or directly transported to the place of the owner of the goods by going through the port dock by using loading and unloading complementary equipment, as well as an effective stacking field and also the performance of the operator greatly affects the loading and unloading process. As PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia II Pontianak branch of the container terminal must always pay attention to good and regular loading and unloading productivity. In this study, loading and unloading productivity is influenced by several factors including the effectiveness of the stacking field, the performance of loading and unloading operators, and loading and unloading equipment. These three factors have an important role in increasing loading and unloading productivity. The population in this study were employees at PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia II Pontianak branch of the container terminal with a research sample of 75 respondents, the variables of this study: the independent variables Stacking Field Effectiveness (X1), Loading and Unloading Operator Performance (X2), and Loading and Unloading Equipment (X3). and the dependent variable is Loading and Unloading Productivity (Y). Analysis of the data used in this study is descriptive analysis and quantitative analysis, the data were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis with the help of (software) the Statistical Package For Social Science (SPSS) version 25. The results of the research by partially testing the t-test hypothesis showed that the Effectiveness of the Stacking Field, the Performance of the Loading and Unloading Operators, and the Unloading Equipment had a positive and significant effect on the Unloading Productivity. Based on the research results, it can be seen that the research model of the multiple linear regression equation is: Y = -0.038 + 0.187X1 + 0.506X2 + 0.321X3 + . From the regression equation, it can be seen that the most dominant variable affecting the loading and unloading productivity is the loading and unloading operator performance variable with a regression coefficient of 0.506 and the R2 (R Square) test obtained results of 0.736 or 73.6%. which means that the Productivity of loading and unloading at PT. Port of Indonesia II Pontianak branch of the container terminal is influenced by the variables of Stacking Field Effectiveness, Performance of Loading and Unloading Operators, and Loading and Unloading Equipment which is 73.6% and other factors that affect loading and unloading productivity at PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia II Pontianak Branch is a container terminal (100% - 73.6%) = 26.4%. So, the remaining 26.4% of other variables that were not proposed in this study.
