Abstract

Productivity of loading and unloading is one of the problems that always gets serious attention in every country, especially regarding sea transportation. Sea transportation is a meeting point for areas that are far from the center of activity, especially in supporting economic activities. With the port, economic activities can become smoother, most of the export and import goods are sent by sea because the number of goods that can be transported by ships is more than the number of goods that can be transported by other fleets. If the port's performance is less than optimal, it will have a direct impact on revenue so that it will cause new problems, namely a decrease in loading and unloading productivity. This study aims to determine the factors that affect equipment, loading and unloading time, loading and unloading labor, operations on loading and unloading productivity (Study at PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia II Persero Branch Dwikora Pontianak). This research was conducted at Dwikora Harbor. Data was collected through observation, literature study, interviews, documentation and questionnaires. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS V.25 program. Based on the results of research and multiple analysis, the following equations are generated: Y = -1,086 + 0,167X1 + 0,280X2 + 0,314X3 + 0,240X4 +  Based on empirical facts (the results of filling out the questionnaire) and the results of multiple linear regression equations indicate that the Equipment variable (X1) has (tcount 2,093 > ttable 2,00324), the variable Loading and Unloading Time (X2) (tcount 3,388 > ttable 2,00324), variable Loading and Unloading Labor (tcount 4,374 > ttable 2,00324), and Operational variables (tcount 2,280 > ttable 2,00324). As for the value of determination (Adjusted R Square) of 0.613. This means that the variables of equipment (X1), loading and unloading time (X2), loading and unloading labor (X3) and operations (X4) have a contribution of 61.3% in influencing loading and unloading productivity (Y). While other factors that affect the increase in the number of passengers (100%-61.3%) = 38.7%. So, the remaining 38.7% of other variables not proposed in this study. Thus, the results of the study show that equipment, loading and unloading time, loading and unloading labor and operations have a positive and significant impact on loading and unloading productivity at Pontianak Dwikora Port.
