Abstract
The increase in the number of motor vehicle transportation has an impact on the increase in the number of accident risks. The cause of motorcycle traffic accidents is caused by rider, vehicle and environmental factors. This study aims to analyze rider behavior (x1),vehicle condition (x2),road conditions (x3)and passing compliance (x4)positive and significant effect on motorcycle driving safety (y). This study uses quantitative data(likert scale)and multiple linear regression analysis (Y=0,117+0,106X1+0,469X2+0,260X3+0,159X4+u) with spss version 22 counting tool. Study subjects (n=130) motorcyclists on wolter monginsidi roads in Semarang. Data collection techniques using observation methods, library studies, interview methods, questionnaire methods and documentaries. The results of the statistical study with multiple linear regression equations obtained that the behavior of the rider (x1) the value of the regression coefficient of 0.51 positive weight and hypotheses received acalculated t value of 2,090 mites - ttable of 1.97912, vehicle condition (x2) the value of the regression coefficient of 0.5 2 marked positive and hypothetically accepted where thecalculated t value is 8,944am -table t of 1.97912, road conditions (x3) regression coefficient values of 0.52 marked positive and hypotheses received where thecalculated t value is 4,981mittedmitted - ttable is 1.97912 and pass compliance (x4)a regression coefficient value of 0.48 marked positive and hypothetically receiveda calculated t value of 3,329 moderatingmoderated t of 1.97912 overall (x1,x2,x3 x4,) in general had a positive and significant influence on motorcycle driving safety (Y). From the number Fcounted at 62,795 - Ftable of 2.68 marked there is a positive and significant influence between the variable behavior of the rider (x1), the condition of the vehicle (x2), road conditions (x3) and compliance with the pass (x4) simultaneouslyto the safety of motorcycle driving (y). The result of the coefficient of determination (Adjust R Square) of 0.657 (0.657 x 100% = 65.7%) variable rider behavior, vehicle conditions, road conditions and compliance with traffic have a contribution role of 65.7% which means the rest of the 100% - 65.7% = 34.3% is the influence of other variables outside this study.
