Abstract
The development of exploitation of natural resources in Indonesia developed along with the times. Review the potential for exports and imports of goods increasing rapidly the Riau Archipelago province switched to become the largest exporter of granite in Indonesia. One of the focus of this research is the effectiveness of dry bulk loading and unloading in the port of PT. Trimegah Perkasa. PT. Trimegah Perkasa Utama is one of the Major contracting companies that are engaged in mining (mine contractor) granite in Karimun that are incorporated in the Karimun Regency administration of the province of Riau Archipelago. This study aims to measure the how long the influence factors of equipment, operational and human resources on the effectiveness of loading and unloading in the port of PT. Trimegah Perkasa Utama. This indicates that the port of PT Trimegah Perkasa Utama has a broad market segment, thus leading to the large number of requests from the market and granite exports expected to effectiveness loading and unloading is well met. Analyzer used is multiple linear analysis, by using descriptive and quantitative method. From the result of research, there is correlation between independent variable and dependent variable. Hypothesis testing using t test shows that the three independent variables (X1), operational (X2), human resources (X3) are proved to have positive and significant influence on variable (Y), with the operational variables (X2) has the highest influence of the other variables in affecting the effectiveness of loading and unloading (Y), the coefficient of determination (R Square) Adjust R square value of 0.617 means 61.7 % variation of dependent variable that is effectivity of loading and unloading can be explained by independent variable that is factor of equipment, operational, and human resource. While the rest is 38.3% explained by the causes other than the variables studied. Keywords: Equipment Factor, Operational and Human Resources
