Abstract
This paper aims to find out everything related to the installation of a fiber optic network, starting from before the network installation process, the equipment used during the installation of the fiber optic network, the parties related to the network installation, to the handover and payment, in this paper. This also aims to find out the documents related to the process of installing a fiber optic network. This paper belongs to the type of writing with observation techniques carried out by the author based on the results of land practice at the company PT. Genesis Berkat Usaha, in which there is a discussion on the procedure for installing a fiber optic network. Based on the results of this paper, it shows that the role of a contractor service company engaged in the fiber optic sector is very important to handle network installation so that the project runs well and in accordance with the SOP (Standard Operating Procedure).
