Abstract
Transportation violations occur due to a person's lack of experience in using or driving a motorized vehicle. In general, if a person does not have experience or driving skills, it is better to use public transportation. There were many traffic violations that often made mistakes, namely motorcycle users, for example against the flow of road traffic, not wearing a helmet, not turning on the lights during the day, and many other shortcomings. Road safety and security has always been a priority for road users, deviant driver behavior has resulted in the number of traffic accidents both intentional and unintentional. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that influence the occurrence of traffic violations on the Jalan Taat-Jalan Ring Road Kendal, with a sample of 100 respondents. The sampling technique used is non-probability sampling quota sampling type. The analytical method used is multiple linear regression analysis. The regression formulation in this study is as follows: Y = 0.373 +0.178X1+0.196X2+0.567X3+µ The results of multiple linear regression research show that there is a positive influence partially human factors have a positive and significant effect on driving safety t count (2.013) > t table (1.985), obedient driving on driving safety tcount (2.289) > t table (1.985), Road capacity on driving safety tcount (5,373) > ttable (1,985). The influence of the three research variables is very strong with the correlation coefficient of determination (Adjusted R Square = 0.609) which means 60.9%, the variable coefficient of human error factor, vehicle condition factor, road condition factor affects traffic accidents, while the rest is 31, 9% is influenced by variables outside this study.
