Abstract
Indonesia is an archipelago that cannot be separated from transportation infrastructure, namely ports. In the port environment there are many activities that support the function and role of the port, including loading and unloading work activities. The loading and unloading activities with high operational levels cause various risks to workforce health and safety. To reduce the risk of work accidents, things that can be done by loading and unloading workers (TKBM) at special Port for PLTU Rembang. namely by understanding the importance of occupational health, the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and worker's behavior. The study population was taken from TKBM special Port for PLTU Rembang and the sample in this study were 118 respondents. The sampling technique uses probability sampling with the type of sampling, namely Sampling Jenuh. The method of analysis in this research is descriptive analysis and quantitative analysis, then the data is analyzed using multiple linear regression with the help of (software) Statistic Package for Social Science (SPSS). The results of the hypothesis test show that the variables of Occupational Health, Use of PPE, and Worker Behavior have a partial positive and significant effect on the loading and unloading safety at special Port for PLTU Rembang. The results of multiple linear regression analysis obtained Y = 1.135 + 0.215X1 + 0.232X2 + 0.436X3 + µ. From the equation, it is known that the dominant variable that affects loading and unloading safety is worker's behavior with a regression coefficient of 0.436. The R2 (R square) test resulted in a result of 0.756 (75.6%) which means the safety of loading and unloading work at special Port for PLTU Rembang is influenced by the variables of Occupational Health, Use of PPE, and Worker Behavior, which is 75.6% and other factors that affect the Safety of Loading and Unloading Work, which is 24.4%. Keywords : Occupational Health, Use of Personal Protective Equipment, Worker Behavior and Safety of Loading and Unloading Work.
