Abstract

The burner is a component of the boiler. The burner functions to atomize the fuel oil. The burner is assisted by air pressure provided by the blower and assisted by electrodes so that combustion occurs in the combustion chamber. Burners are very important in boilers. If the burner cannot atomize the fuel, then the boiler will not work optimally. Burner boilers often fail to burn. Burner operation and maintenance should be good. Burner maintenance should be done regularly. Good maintenance can improve the performance of the burner. The burner has parts that support combustion. The electrode is part of the burner. The blower is part of the burner. The flame eye detector is part of the burner. Ignitor gun is part of the burner. The solenoid valve is part of the burner. The nozzle is part of the burner. The oil filter is part of the burner. The rotary burner is part of the burner. The purpose of this paper is to find out the causes that cause flame failure on the main burner, to find out how to treat the burner boiler, to find out the actions taken to reduce the risk of flame failure, to find out how to maintain the burner boiler, to determine the burner performance, to knowing how the boiler burner works, to find out the right treatment for the boiler burner. The author discusses the problem by describing the object studied and the principles derived from the theories related to the boiler burner. The author uses an approach in the field that has been implemented by being directly involved in the maintenance of boiler operational repairs during the voyage. Regular checks on the burner is a way of maintaining the burner. Maintenance is done by checking, cleaning, replacing the nozzle and electrode if damaged. Damage to the nozzle, electrode and fuel connection is the cause of flame failure in the burner. Periodic maintenance of boiler burner nozzles and electrodes is an attempt to reduce burner flame failure. The conclusion that causes flame failure is the lack of maintenance on the burner. Checking, Cleaning, Routine maintenance on the boiler burner is a way to avoid flame failure on the boiler burner. Keywords: Burner Boiler, Maintenace, Combustion In Boilers
