Abstract
The implementation of school buses is an activity carried out by the Department of Transportation in implementing policies applied to support learning activities in the field of transportation. The Department of Transportation of Temanggung Regency has made the school bus application to the Ministry of Transportation. The purpose of the school bus application aims to help the mobility of students in heading to school and reduce the costs incurred for school transportation. For the operation of school buses that have a passenger capacity of 60 people has been conducted a review by the transportation office. The assessment was conducted so that the school bus does not interfere with rural transportation, because the passengers are mostly school students. The Transportation Department stipulates 2 operational lines that are currently operational, the first is the line from Terminal Temanggung to SMK 1 Temanggung and the second line that will be passed by the school bus is the route from Terminal Kranggan - Purwosari - Pager Gunung Pringsurat Subdistrict. This research was conducted with the aim to know the influence of service quality, effectiveness and ease of access related to the implementation of school buses in Temanggung Regency. This study also aims to analyze the most dominant factors affecting the implementation of school buses in Temanggung District. This study uses quantitative method, the population in this study is students of school bus users and the sample technique used is saturated sampling as many as 60 respondents according to the capacity of school bus passengers. The analysis techniques in this study used multiple linear regression analysis. The formulation of regression in this study is Y = -0,220 + 0,422 X1 + 0,264 X2 + 0,309 X3 + µ The results of multiple regression studies show that there is a partially positive influence on the quality of service to bus implementation (t count 3,013 > t table 2,00247), effectiveness to bus implementation (t count 2,169 > t table 2,00247) and ease of access to bus implementation (t count 3,222 > t table 2,00247). From the regression equation it can be known that the most dominant variable affecting the implementation of buses is the service quality variable with a regression coefficient of 0.422 and obtained the value of the determination coefficient (Adjusted R Square = 0.570) means the remaining 57.0% (100%-57.0%=43.0%) influenced by other variables outside the study or outside the regression equation model.
