Abstract

This research was motivated by the increasing needs of the public, including in the field of air transportation. Air transport is one of the most popular types public transport this time. Sriwijaya Air as one of the companies engaged in the air transportation services that will always provide the best service and satisfactory. The purpose of the research is to determine the effect of flight rates, corporate image, promotion and service quality to increase the number of passengers on customers Sriwijaya Air route Semarang-Jakarta. The sample in this research were 100 respondents with sampling technique of quota sampling. The analysis used in this research is descriptive analysis and quantitative analysis, data is analyzed by using multiple linear regression analysis with Statistic Package For Social Science (SPSS) version 24 software. The result of the research by testing the t-test hypothesis partially shows that the airline tariff, corporate image, promotion and service quality have positive and significant influence to the increasing of passenger number. Based on the research results can be seen that the research model of multiple linear regression equation is: Y = - 1.735 + 0.283.X1 + 0.235.X2 + 0.257.X3 + 0.323.X4 + μ. The result of multiple linear regression equation shows that there is partially positive influence between the flight tariff to the increasing of passenger number (t count = 3,442> t table = 1,98525), company image to increase of passenger number (t count = 2,398> t table = 1 , 98525), promotion of increasing number of passengers (t arithmetic = 2.892> t table = 1.98525), service quality to increase the number of passengers (t count = 4.802> t table = 1.98525), Keywords: airline rates, corporate image, promotion, service quality and increasing number of passengers
