Abstract
In the service of loading and unloading containers must be regulated properly. The fact that the geographical condition of Indonesia is an archipelagic country whose attractiveness is much wider on the mainland, it is only natural that the development and arrangement of transportation today needs great attention. Basically, the tendency of the port management system is in line with the order, direction, purpose and guidelines of port services with one of the loading and unloading companies in the context of increasing productivity, optimizing user facilities and equipment and developing ports in the form of ports. Equal cooperation and mutual need. The research method used is descriptive which discusses a number of issues, and summarizes the information contained in the research and presents it in the desired form. The data used are primary and secondary data. Primary data was collected by observing the object of research and secondary data was obtained from books, journals and literature studies. he purpose of this research discussion is to find out about the activities and processes of loading and unloading containers at PT. Salam Pacific Indonesia Lines at Tanjung Emas Port, Semarang to see further how the relationship between loading and unloading companies with related parties in supporting container loading and unloading activities.
