Abstract

International shipping is an overall activity of the business transaction process done by two country or more. It is include private companies or government. This will bring impact to how to handle dangerous cargo (Dengerous Goods). In countainers need support equipment and special hold. Handling special cargo needs special attention. It is to keep safety in shipping and the cargo itself. Countaine usage must be in accordance dangerous cargo, cargo handling consistent to International Maritime Dengerous code in PT. Wahyu Mandiri. The purpose of this study is to know about cargo handling based on IMDG Code by PT. Wahyu Mandiri Method of collecting data is observasi,interview and literature. The results of this paper is handling dangerous cargo use countainer consistent in classification which has set by IMDG Code. KEYWORDS : the heandling of dangerous cargo, Container, IMDG Code
