Abstract
Imported soybean quarantine management at Ship Cargo Expedition Company (EMKL) PT. Samudera Perdana Selaras is the main discussion of this paper. The author aims to compare the processing of imported soybean quarantine using the online PPK (Quarantine Check Request) system using the Single Submission Quarantine Customs (SSMQC) system. There are several background problems that the writer must solve, namely the flow of management using each system, the documents used, the related agencies, and the various problems faced by each system. PT. Samudera Perdana Selaras, EMKL's division is a company that serves export and import activities of various commodities. With the biggest activity is serving the import of soybean commodity from PT. FKS Multi Agro. Activities begin with receiving documents from the importer until the goods can leave the port and then sent to the importer's warehouse. The purpose of this research paper is none other than to determine the comparison between the two systems. The author uses several methods to collect data during land practice (Prada). Several methods are used by the author, namely, observation, interviews, and document study and literature study. The result of the discussion of this paper is that the use of these two systems is equally good. However, the SSMQC system which is essentially the newest system has the advantage of being less time and costly than the online PPK system.
