Abstract
In carrying out the loading and unloading process of goods with the help of a system known as "ETOS". ETOS, which stands for electronic terminal operating system, is an application used in container terminals, in order to improve loading and unloading performance so as to reduce ship waiting time. There are several background problems that the author must solve, namely, increasing productivity with the ETOS system, receiving and delivery processes. , the procedure for improving performance products, the writing of this paper aims to see how the increase in productivity is carried out by PT. Rimo Transport Expressindo in ship services regarding loading and unloading processes, standby, and container delivery. Based on data carried out during ground practice (prada), the authors used several methods, namely, observation, interviews and document analysis. The results of the discussion of this paper are about the quality of service that is very smooth without any productivity errors and the use of ETOS in the loading and unloading process of domestic containers at PT. Rimo Transport Expressindo can greatly assist operational performance and also increase service productivity and service time. The conclusion with this paper is to always carry out continuous evaluation and development in order to produce adequate service quality according to company regulatory standards Keywords: ETOS, loading and unloading, productivity.
