Abstract

Fire Sensor is a tool that functions to detect fires early, so that fires that occur do not develop into larger ones. With the detection of a fire, efforts to extinguish the fire can be done immediately, so as to minimize losses from the start if a fire occurs. So that all parts of the ship can be protected from fire, it is necessary to install a fire sensor to minimize a fire, the parts of the ship that must be installed are fire sensors that are engine rooms because there is a lot of fuel and heat caused by operating the engines so that the possibility of occurring fire is very large, the other part is the Engine Control Room in this section is also prone to fire because in this section there are a lot of cables that can occur at any time electrical short circuit, the next part is the deck in this section there must also be a fire sensor because many cables cable so the possibility of fire is also very high.Damage to the detector usually results in damage from a long life and must be replaced immediately but the replacement is too late. Usually the damage is due to the amount of dust that is already attached so as to obstruct the optical system in it, this will damage the electronic system circuit inside. In this type of damage the Panel informs the active detector which means there is one detector active so the alarm is active. Alerts in cases like this will not stop even if you restart. To find out enough to use the AVO meter to find the connection is lost and check every connection connected with a diode. If you have tightened the connection but it is still not stable, then a new diode replacement will be carried out. For the case of trouble open, it happened once in the last 6 months.
