Abstract
The port is an area of water that is protected against storms / waves / currents, so the ship can rotate, lean, in such a way that loading and unloading of goods and passenger movement can be carried out to support these functions built docks, roads, warehouses, lighting facilities, telecommunications and so on, so that the transfer function from the port to the vessel leaning on the port to the next harbor can be implemented. The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence between independent variables of security, accessibility, and facilities, and the dependent variable is the effectiveness of the port. The population in this study is all passengers operating on the Port of Crossing Jepara and the sample in this study is 100 respondents with the technique used is the technique of non-probability sampling that is by using purposive sampling, which is a sampling technique based on certain considerations. The analytical method used is descriptive analysis and quantitative analysis, the data were analyzed by using multiple regression analysis with Statistic Package For Social Science (SPSS) software. The results of this study indicate that the security variables, accessibility, and facilities partially and simultaneously affect the effectiveness of the Port of Crossing Jepara. Results of multiple linear regression analysis obtained equation Y = 3.419 + 0.312.X1 + 0.148.X2 + 0.351.X3 + μ. From the regression equation it can be seen that the most dominant variable affecting the effectiveness of the port is a facility variable with a regression coefficient of 0.351.
