Abstract

To support the sea transportation in ship and terminal services, this scientific paper describes how, "The Role of POCC in Facilitating the process of carrying out docking and loading and unloading at Trisakti Port, Banjarmasin". In-portactivities at PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) III Banjarmasin maximum service will greatly affect the development of the flow of activities that occur at the port. This aims to determine the role of POCC as a capable online-based service provider, to find out the obstacles encountered in port services, andto find out the efforts to overcome the service constraints that POCC encountered at PT. Pelabuha Indonesia (Persero) III Banjarmasin. This writing is based on theory and reality in the field which explains the titles raised relating to services bythe main duties and laws and regulations governing services, especially at PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) III Banjarmasin. Accompanied by the framework of thought that underlies the writing of this scientific paper. The research method used by the author in conveying the problem is a qualitative method to describe and describe the object under study. Based on how to obtain it, the data obtained during the study as a support for the compilation of scientific writing is using primary and secondary data and direct interviews from the source. From the research, the results obtained are 1) Duties and responsibilities of POCC and its parts. 2) The process of carrying out docking and loading and unloading through the POCC at the port. 3) Constraints faced by POCC. Based on the results of this study the conclusions on services are: a) POCC has duties and responsibilities in each of its parts which aims to regulate the smooth flow of activities at the port. b) the process of carrying out loading and unloading through POCC greatly facilitates service users and has better efficiency than before. c) Obstacles generally occur due to the lack of mastery in the operation of POCC from both service users and the POCC itself. Therefore, moredetailed socialization is needed toincrease insight and ability in the better operation of POCC. Keywords: POCC, Services, Pelindo III
