Abstract

Ship waiting time is one issue that is always getting serious attention in every country. Marine transportation became the main made of transportation in trade. Nearly 90% of foreign trade is done by sea. Freight carried by sea to be very efficient due to higher passenger capacity and this the role of the port as a place where ships can carry out loading and unloading of goods becomes an important means of supporting adequate facilities and infrastructure. If the performance of the supper is not optimal, it will have a direct impact on the service so that it will cause new problems, namely the ship's waiting time gets higher, so that it will lead to high costs, which have a direct impact on the price of goods on the market. This research has objective to know analysis the influence of factor pilotage, loading and unloading productivity and ship scheduling to the time waiting ta vessel (cash study on the at the Container Terminal PT PELINDO I Cabang Batam). The study is done at the port of Batu Ampar Batam in the sample. The data collection done was done through a method of observation, the literature study, interview, documentation and the questionnaires. Technique the analysis used is linear regression multiple with program assitance SPSS V.22. Based on the results of research and analysis produced equation worship of idols: Y = 15,186 - 0,235 X1 -0,160 X2 -0,299 X3 +  Based on empirical facts (the results of filling in the questionnaire) and the results of multiple linear regression equations indicate that the Scouting Services variable (X1) has (t -3.918> t table 1.994), Load Unloading Productivity variable (X2) (t -2,365> t table 1.994), and variables Ship Scheduling (t count - 5.433> t table 1.994). While for adjusted R2 = 0.711. This means that 71.61% of the variation in the dependent variable (Y) is the vessel waiting time can be explained or caused by independent variables namely Guiding Services (X1), Load Unloading Productivity (X2), and Ship Scheduling (X3). While the remaining 100% - 71.1% = 28.9%, explained by other causes outside the variables studied. Thus the results of the study show that Scouting Services, Load Unloading and Ship Scheduling have a positive and significant effect on Ship Waiting Time at the Port of Batu Ampar Batam Keywords: Pilotage, Loading and Unloading Productivity, Scheduling vessel and Waiting Time a ship.
