Abstract

Along with the development of science and technology, the tanker itself undergoes changes and development and renewal, especially in terms of loading and unloading equipment. What must be considered in the process of loading product oil is the risk or danger indication that arises. Risks that can occur include: oil spills (overflow) which can become a source of pollution at the port or at the loading terminal, fires that can endanger the safety of crews, ships and property at the port or loading terminal, work accidents from both the ship crew and the terminal. . The purpose of this study was to determine safe preparation and loading in MT. Straits Energy in accordance with established procedures. As long as cadets do prala for 1 year, the data collection method uses field research methods and literature methods that use observation techniques, and interview techniques. The result of this paper is that the implementation of loading at MT. Strais energy is running smoothly and safely in accordance with applicable procedures.
