Abstract

In writing this paper, the author tries to raise the problem "Usefulness of loading and unloading equipment in the process of unloading factory materials (equipment)". With the aim of knowing what functions and tools are used in the unloading process of prefabricated materials at Tanjung Emas Port, because sooner or later an unloading activity depends on how the loading and unloading equipment operates. Because one of the obstacles that occurred during the loading and unloading process at the port was caused by unkempt loading and unattended equipment so that the loading and unloading process was hampered and the process of sending materials was delayed. The purpose of this research is to be more careful in caring for demolition equipment that lacks maintenance such as dry slings, ship cranes, forklifts, mobile cranes which can result in obstruction of the unloading process, so before the unloading activity runs, the tools are prepared as much as possible, so that it doesn't happen again. the same mistake. The data used by the author in the preparation of this paper are qualitative data. Field observations, interviews, literature. The conclusion of this paper is to know how to make loading and unloading equipment operate smoothly and safely, and to anticipate loading and unloading equipment so as not to become an obstacle in the loading and unloading process. Keywords: Usefulness of loading and unloading tools.
