Abstract
Traffic accidents are events that are difficult to predict when and where they occur. With good road planning, it can provide better safety, small errors of judgment, no concentration of vehicles at any time or there is no misperception on the road, and thus avoid accidents. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that influence the occurrence of traffic accidents on the causeway Sumatera Bandar Lampung, with a sample of this study as many as 100 respondents. The sampling technique used was non-probability sampling with quota sampling. The analytical method used is multiple linear regression analysis. The regression formulation in this study is as follows: Y = 0.373 + 0.178X1 + 0.196X2 + 0.567X3 + µ The results of the multiple linear regression research show that there is a partially positive effect of helmet use behavior on the human error factor t count (2.013)> t table (1.985), vehicle condition factor on driving safety t count (2.289)> t table (1.985), factor condition road to traffic accidents t count (5,373)> ttable (1,985). The influence of the three research variables is very strong with the correlation coefficient of determination (Adjusted R Square = 0.609) which means 60.9%, the coefficient of human error factors, vehicle conditions, road conditions has an effect on traffic accidents, while the rest is 31, 9% is influenced by variables outside this study. Keywords : Human Error Factors, Vehicle Condition Factors, Road Condition Factors And Traffic Accidents.
