Abstract

Yogyakarta Tugu Train Station is located at Jalan Pangeran Mangkubumi Number 1, Sosromenduran Village, Gedongtengen District, Yogyakarta City. The station was built on an area of 96,112 m², with a total building area of 74,128 m². The building area consists of several buildings, one of which is the main building of Yogyakarta Tugu Station which has a building area of 992.2 m². The existence of Yogyakarta Tugu Station is closely related to the construction of trains in the Vorstenlanden area which is supervised by the private company Nederland Indische Spoorweg Maatschappij (NISM). The technique used is a non-probability sampling technique with incidental sampling, which is a sampling technique based on chance, where anyone who happens to meet the researcher can be used as a sample. The data analysis technique is multiple linear regression techniques. With the help (software) Statistic Package For Social Science (SPSS). The results of the multiple linear regression equation show that railroad services, health and facilities have a positive and significant effect on train passenger safety. The results of multiple linear regression analysis show the equation Y = 3.092 + 0.433X1 + 0.199X2 + 0.194X3 + µ. From the multiple linear regression equation, it can be seen that the most dominant variable that affects the safety of train passengers is train service with a regression coefficient of 0.433 and with an Adjusted R Square test of 0.525 or 52.5%, which means that the safety of train passengers in influence by train services, health and facilities by 52.5% and other factors that affect the safety of train passengers other than the factors examined is 47.5%.
