Abstract
Sea transportation is one type of transportation that is currently very attention by the Government, because it is considered to have potential value which is very high in development of the economic sector and sectors social in the state of Indonesia which consists of thousands of islands. Cooperation between countries in the exchange of the technology and the economy includesn the export and import of goods, mostly by sea because the cost of transportation is much cheaper than by air. With the existence of shipping lanes, it will increase the level of trade which refers to the level of growth of the sea transportation sector, so that this can be achieved,of course it must be balanced with good and effective shipping equality as possible. Many of the above loads cargo on board due to various factors, both internal and external. The purpose of the writing this paper is to explain how overcome the obstacles that occur during the loading and discharging process at MV.BARUNA MAJU. Methods of data collection using methods field research and literature methods using techniques observation, and interview techniques resulting from this paper are solutions clarify the constraints that occur during the loading and discharging process MV.
