Abstract

A battery or battery is a cell in which an electrochemical process is reversible with high efficiency. What is meant by a reversible electrochemical process is in a battery that can take place in the process of converting chemicals into chemical energy into electricity, and vice versa from electric power to chemical power. In battery usage there are often several obstacles due to the influence of poor battery components. For example damage to the battery, lack of battery power due to lack of electrolyte liquid batteries. So that the damage to the battery component certainly affects the performance of the battery. The result of maintenance and repair is to find out how to repair the battery. And if there is a lack of battery power due to lack of electrolyte fluid, it is expected to fill electrolyte fluid. The results of this paper are to know how to carry out maintenance, repair damage, and make changes so that the battery works optimally. The conclusion of this paper is that the battery is a source of electricity that produces voltage by working which converts chemical energy into electrical energy and has a maintenance system so that the battery lasts longer. The battery has 3 methods of filling and applying in series and in parallel. In this case the battery must also be controlled at the battery level and checked by the battery terminal because it affects the system's battery performance Keywords: Parallel, electrolytes, electrochemistry
